The hidden gem of Ljubljana

Cacao Rooms offers an intimate atmosphere and a fantastic location right in the heart of Ljubljana. The cleanliness was impeccable, and I especially enjoyed the charming bathroom amenities.

With no reception desk, I experienced a brief wait for check-in. the room felt slightly cramped, which may not suit everyone’s needs. It’s also important to note that there’s no breakfast service.

This place was a right gem! Absolutely loved the sweet little room right on the street, felt like a part of the city's buzz. The only downside was a bit of street noise, but that’s city livin’ innit? Great for exploring lively Ljubljana!

Charming bathroom amenities in a unique design.

I found the pillows extremely uncomfortable, which impacted my sleep. there was no traditional breakfast included for the price, which felt quite disappointing. Lastly, while the street outside was lively, it made for a noisy atmosphere if you had the windows open.

The location was perfect for exploring Ljubljana, right by the cafes and sights. the street noise was a bit loud at night.

Everything was on point! The shower was like a spa experience, big towels too! Close to all the lekker spots like the Triple Bridge and markets. Staff were super friendly, loved having brekkie at the café next door while watching the river flow by.

A bit of a bummer was the lack of a kettle in the room—it’d be nice to make a quick brew anytime!

Loved the large room and spacious bathroom! Perfect location near cafes and sights, great for exploring the area.

Had an amazing two-night stay with friends! The location couldn't be better for exploring. Our twin room was nicely decorated and clean. The communal kitchen was perfect for late-night snacks, and we loved trying the homemade ice-cream nearby. We visited the beautiful castle and local markets, which were highlights of our trip.

The only downside was that the twin room felt a bit dark and cramped with limited daylight. It could be improved for a more spacious feel.

Beautiful room with large bathroom. No kettle in room was a letdown.

I had a great stay in the Double Room for 3 nights! The bed was super comfy and the room felt spacious and modern. Loved the large bathroom too, with quality toiletries. It was also cool that there's a communal kitchen to whip up a quick meal. Despite being in the middle of everything, the soundproof windows were awesome at blocking noise, so I slept well!

the only downside was the street noise at night it wasn’t too loud but just a little. the bathroom was massive and had good toiletries plus the communal kitchen was super handy for snacks and drinks.

This place was super cute! The large windows let in loads of light and offered fun views of the lively street below. The shower was amazing—felt like a spa! The kitchen had just what I needed. Only thing was the street noise at night might bother light sleepers.

Enjoyed a cozy two-night stay in the double room. The soundproof windows worked perfectly to block out the busy street noise. Instant coffee was available, but a Nespresso machine would elevate the experience—pack your kettle for your tea breaks! Perfect proximity to city highlights.
